Nikki on the Gadget Show update - 31/5/2011
Nikki on this weeks Gadget show was a lot of fun to watch and you can watch Nikki's full challenge on The Gadget Show on the 5FWD website here. Nikki loved the trialling the camping devices but preferred the campervan over the tent overnight. She had a lot of fun with the land wind surfer but was less then impressed with and traumatized by the Hurler which is towed by a jetski. It was a great show and Nikki made it very entertaining.

May 19, 2011 Nikki Grahame reviews The Wombats new album
Nikki has written a review for Hit The Floor Magazine of The Wombats latest release: This Modern Glitch.
Despite liking 3 of the tracks including "Jump into the fog" Nikki is less than enthusiastic about the album as a whole, saying "If I knew nothing about this Liverpudlian trio I would assume they were teenage boys due to the use of the amateur lyrics at times and simple melodies, when in actual fact they should be riding high off the back of their successful first album." Ouch!!
Read the whole review here and check back soon for more reviews and an interview with the legendary Carl Barat.
Hit The Floor magazine is now available in print - check out where you can get a copy here.

April 14, 2011 Nikki Grahame's review of The Vaccines for Hit The Floor Magazine
On 7th April Nikki was at the Electric Ballroom Camden for Hit The Floor Magazine reviewing new Indie group The Vaccines. This is the 2nd blog Nikki has done for this popular online magazine.
"What did you expect from The Vaccines?" were the words on everyone's lips after the release of their debut album on the 14th March this year. The band who consist of Justin Young (vocals), Freddie Cowan (lead guitar), Arni Hjorvar (bass) and Pete Robertson (drums) formed less than a year ago in June 2010 and have already reached heights of success which many recent british bands have yet to discover.
After their first London gig at the Flower Pot in Kentish Town, the band were signed to Columbia Records soon after releasing their debut single "Wreckin' Bar (ra ra ra)" which entered the uk singles chart at 157. This was followed by "Post Break Up Sex" which peaked at 32, and most recent "If You Wanna" (Hit The Floors personal favorite) which reached 53. March 29, 2011 The Universal Sigh - report by Nikki Grahame
Some people wait a life time to meet their hero's and still don't get to meet them, others wait just over an hour in a queue outside the Truman Brewery!
Radiohead are always full of surprises and as fans we eagerly await another album. After 2007's In Rainbows (one of my favorite albums of all time) a shock announcement is made at 3am 14th feb 2011 that the follow up to In Rainbows - 'King of Limbs' will be available for download on the 19th February! This was a truly special moment as it was completely unexpected!
On March 28th to promote King of Limbs going on sale on cd and vinyl the band announced they would be releasing newspapers all over the world- The Universal Sigh.
Inside this newspaper there authored pieces by Stanley Donwood, who designed most of the bands artwork since The Bends. And various illustrations by Zachariah and Donald Twain of Plants and Norse mythology.
The newspaper itself is a journey into the forest of nature, trees and woodlands. This is captured into meaningful mystical stories which allows your mind to run wild and be consumed to another dimension. There are also lyrics from tracks off King Of Limbs. On the back of the paper there is a qr code which may also reveal something, we have yet to discover, lets hope its confirmation of a king of limbs tour next year!
As I stood in a long line of people waiting to claim my copy of this intreguing free newspaper, I prayed they wouldn't run out by the time I got to the front.
They began distributing them at 12.15pm and as the queue went down, trails of fans walked past the line with their copy of the paper on show for all to see beaming with glee to themselves!
It got to around 1.20pm and whispers that the man himself Thom Yorke was actually in the vicinity? No way I thought! When suddenly he appeared walking down the line of people and handing out copies of his Universal Sigh! As he personally handed me my copy, the feeling of euphoria rushed through me to the point I thought I was going to faint! Everyone stood in amazement as he smiled and joked around, he was in fantastic form. I even managed to get him to look in my direction for a few pictures!
After around 15 minutes of him sharing his time with his worshipping fans he wandered into Rough Trade where by everybody followed waiting to see what was going to happen next!
As we all piled in to the building, 'Codex' was playing for all to hear! Had this actually just happened or was it all a dream? I don't think anything in my life will ever match this surreal magical moment. Thom had now disappeared out the back but everyone lingered cherishing the specialness of what had just occurred.

February 3, 2011 Nikki Grahame is in OK! Magazine this week
Nikki is interviewed with Vanessa Feltz in this weeks issue of OK! magazine. Nikki is Vanessa's fairy, they have superimposed her over a giant Vanessa in all the pictures. Nikki reckons it would be great to have Big Brother back one day as it was but only with Davina as she is Big Brother. They asked her if Vanessa would be good at it and she says oh yes! But Vanessa doesn't think she is right for it.
Nikki has also decided she is gonna be Vanessa's bridesmaid but she hasn't found the time to arrange her wedding yet!! But it should be this year sometime. Nikki was also asked whether she has made up with Ulrika and she says no. Nikki grew tired of how condescending she was to her and she had made it clear she didn't like Nikki.
Elsewhere in the magazine there is a picture of Nikki at the Priscilla parties in the parties section.

January 8, 2011 Nikki Grahame on How to be Famous
Nikki featured in a programe called "How to be Famous" on E4 over New Years Eve which was repeated on the 2nd January. Nikki along with Brian Belo representing Reality TV gave their views on how Big Brother contestants including themselves faired after appearing on Big Brother. Nikki telling a tale about her audition experience, her phone rang and the producer telling her not to answer that. But typical of Nikki she answered it "Hi babe.." then before she knew it her minute was up. She doesn't say but its what got her through the audition, she lost her temper at the interruption and thats how BB saw her first tantrum. Nikki also talked about being given the talk of doom, it didn't change her mind about going in because she had nothing to lose. The makers of the program obviously like her entry to the house as there is plenty of footage of Nikki in the bunny outfit.
Watch the video below to see Nikki in the Reality TV section of the program.
