Nikki was interviewed by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willougby alongside Susan Ringwood from the Eating Disorders Association and "This Morning's" resident agony aunt Denise Robertson.

She was asked about her own experiences of being anorexic, the development of her OCD, and about the publication of her book "Dying To Be Thin" (now out in paperback).

There was an excellent discussion about anorexia following on from Nikki's admission that she has lost weight over the past year due in part to all the issues and memories that arose from writing the book. Nikki said that she had received a lot of messages from young men and girls who told her that reading her book had really helped and inspired them. As a result she said she felt that she had let them down but, as Susan Ringwood pointed out - she shouldn't - its very hard for people to recover from anorexia and lapses are common - anyone recovering from the illness will understand that. The important thing is to get help and everyone agreed that the help available is so much better than it was. As Nikki pointed out, when she was first diagnosed no-one knew much about anorexia but now its OK to talk about it and that must be a good thing although, as Denise Robertson said, there is still a long way to go. Anorexia is an illness and not something to be ashamed of and everyone agreed that by talking about her own experiences Nikki is doing a lot of good.

Nikki has said that she accepts she needs some help and is going to consult a lifestyle trainer and a nutritionist.

As will all Nikki's interviews about anorexia, she spoke openly and honestly about herself and how the disease affects her life. It was a very positive interview.

After all she is still the most popular Housemate in many polls, definitely the most entertaining, you never know the producers might take note and its a bit of fun. This week Nikki talks about Cheryl Cole's single life, Dawn French and Lenny Henry's split, and Jordan's post-natal depression. MY DIARY I had a bit of an unlucky few days last week as I had a power cut and my car broke down! I'm now looking for a new one. I did some filming for a Big Brother show about memorable housemates and moments and that more than made up for it, though. It will be screened before the final series. I'm really into watching The City on MTV at the moment, so I've been catching…
